Michelle Nichols
Principal
Mrs. Nichols began teaching in 1995. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Southern Mississippi. She completed the Alternate Teacher Certification program at the University of New Orleans and passed the National Teacher Examination immediately following. Mrs. Nichols received her Masters of Education, Teaching and Learning, from Liberty University. The subjects that Mrs. Nichols has had the pleasure of teaching are: American History, World History, Louisiana History, Civics and Geography for Sixth through Tenth Grades, and Physical Education and Health for pre-kindergarten through High School, and Bible. Before being called to Victory Christian Academy by the Lord in 1999, Mrs. Nichols spent four years teaching in the Jefferson Parish Public School System. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Nichols served as the Student Council Moderator for Victory Christian High School for two years. Victory Fellowship is the church in which the Nichols family is thankful to be planted. Mrs. Nichols’ husband, Matt, is a former VCA student and their daughter, Emma, is a second generation VCA gator. Both Mr. and Mrs. Nichols have a strong belief in Christian education, and a love for Victory Christian Academy. They desire for Romans 1:16 to be true for all of VCA’s students: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…”
